truly the best part about the lockout being over? now all the arena workers, concession vendors, bar owners, servers and everyone who was affected by this terrible lockout can begin to make a living again and get back to work. support the small guys and fill up those bars and restaurants!

How many people work in one hockey arena? A hundred? Two hundred? Multiply that by thirty. Think of how many people will be out of a job this year because your 8 million dollar salary isn’t enough. To that I say fuck you. People’s livelihoods are at stake, here. How is it fair to lock out the employees when they all have mouths to feed? How is it fair to lock out the fans who spend their hard earned money on hockey tickets? How is it fair to lockout the players when they’re all perfectly able to play?
It breaks my heart to think that there are players out there that can no longer play, like Rick, and Luc, and Derek, and maybe even Jabs, and here you are trying to rob even more players from their dreams when it isn’t necessary.
Make the fucking deal, Bettman. Because right now you’re letting too many people down..
